  • What is included in my investment?

In order to clearly explain all of the time, effort, and experience included in an Illuminate Images photo shoot we’ve carefully laid it out for you here:
Correspondence with Illuminate Images so that we get to know you and are able to ensure the shoot is exactly what you dreamed, from themes, style, location, ensembles, and more. We always shoot with two photographers so that you’re getting our combined inspiration and talent to enhance the final images we capture of you and/or your family. It’s not over when we say goodbye, we still have many hours left in which we carefully choose the most captivating and fun images, edit each one individually, then package and mail you a CD/DVD of 20-30 digital files.
*If you are preparing for a themed shoot which you would like Illuminate Images to provide props for, we will spend our time deciding what items would fit best, shopping for them, purchasing them, and even making an occasional craft or two if it fits your style.

  • What should I bring for the shoot?

Sometimes it’s just best to have your smiling faces and some awesome scenery. Depending on the theme we choose, there are tons of fun things you could bring: An old family quilt, cool photo frames, special toys or stuffed animals for the kids, a wagon, an awesome refurbished car :-), your favorite team’s jerseys (especially if there is a family rivalry), cool old chairs, vintage finds, etc.

  • How long will it take to get my images?

We have a 4-6 weeks turn-around for most shoots. We will typically post a teaser on the blog a few days after your shoot and several more images within a few weeks. Give us 4-6 weeks to mail you your complete image set on CD/DVD.

  • How many images will I receive?

Your investment will include a CD/DVD of 20-30 edited images with printing rights and printable up to an 8×10. Larger prints can be ordered through the professional printing company we use to ensure quality images and true to life color.
